KIRK ELLA PACKMAN LANE TA 02 NW (west side) 9/45 Kirk Ella Hall 31.1.67 - II

House, now a club-house. Late C18 with C19 additions to left. Yellow brick, stone dressings, slate roof. Two storeys, 7 bays, centre 3 bays slightly projecting. Central double-leaf glazed and panelled door with overlight in projecting porch with Tuscan doorcase and balustered parapet.

Sashes with glazing bars under wedge lintels. First-floor band. First floor: central tripartite window with 2-pane sash flanked by attached Tuscan columns and sidelight with Tuscan pilasters all under a moulded cornice. To right and left, sashes with sills and glazing bars under wedge lintels.

Moulded cornice, coped parapet. South (garden) front is dominated by 2- storey canted bays to right and left of a Tuscan porch. Ground floor: 2- pane sashes with sills First-floor band. Sill band to sashes with glazing bars. To the centre bay of the first floor, over the door, is a tripartite Tuscan window similar to that on the entrance front. Eaves cornice, balustered parapet. End stacks. Hipped roof.
