The house at 313 Welcombe Avenue (second on the left) was the 4000th house to be built by Laing in Swindon. At the time, it was one of 3000 Easiform houses in Swindon; the rest being mostly of traditional design. 'Easiform' was a method of in situ pre-cast concrete construction which John Laing and Son Ltd developed from 1919 onwards.
