Description

The annual Gala Day was held on 29th June 1985 at the Laing Sports Ground at Elstree. Activities included a vintage car competition, golf, tombola, tennis tournament, charity stalls, darts match and the John Laing (Hendon) Band. Races, Punch and Judy and a bouncy castle were organised for children. The day ended with a disco. This photograph was published in the August 1985 edition of 'Team Spirit', the Laing employee newsletter.
