Description

The mobile shelving units enable a more efficient use of storage space, having to have only one aisle open at anyone time to access books. The shelves are still to be properly installed in this photograph but will go on to house more than 25 million books.

This image was catalogued as part of the Breaking New Ground Project in partnership with the John Laing Charitable Trust in 2019-20.
