The plan gives the lines on which the sections are taken. The sections are sectional elevations and show details of the staircase risers and walls behind as well as the structures along the section line.
The plan was drawn in pencil and the main features of the plan and the structures on the section line have been gone over with a fine ink pen. The notes are also in pen.
The plan shows the present and former stair lines.
