Description

The hotel dates to the mid 19th cenury, and was extended in 1896. It has three storeys and an attic, in two blocks linked with a central tower. The tower has a large jettied belfry with round-headed openings, a dome roof and ball finial. To the right, as the base of the sea wall, is the Pegwell Inn. It was built and altered at the same time as the hotel, with three storeys facing the sea front, and one storeys to the road elevation.
