Description

The caption within the album lists this building as Mount Hooley in County Durham. Although a modern day (2019) Mount Hooley has been located within the parish of Whittingham, the contemporary mapping (1923) is inconsistent with the shape and surroundings of the building within the image. Also, the contemporary mapping names the Whittingham building as Mount Holly.
