The original drawings were hand-tinted, and the rooms are named. They were probably created between 1846, when the Pavilion was completed, and 1851, when the main wing was completed. Although the originals bear Office of Works numbers, they also bear 'TS' numbers and the items were probably created by Thomas Cubitt's firm. The copies are on paper and translucent drawing film.
