Description

A series of nine sheets and a front cover, created in 1983 by the Royal Parks Historic Survey. This group consists of the following surveys of the Osborne estate: land use and manmade features; field archaeology; ecology; a plastic overlay sheet showing contours; a plastic overlay sheet entitled 'Proposals' (showing compartment numbers); a tree survey; a tree survey of the inner park; a topographic survey of the Swiss Cottage gardens and the area around the visitors' reception centre, and a survey of the hard features of the gardens. The items were once bound together into a large booklet. The group is associated with PF/OSH/036. The survey was carried out by J. Phibbs et al and the items were drawn by P. Bushell.
