Series: Engineering Archie

Description

A series of sixty-one (61) digital colour photographs showing football grounds, grandstands and terraces designed by Archibald Leitch.

All of the photographs were taken by Simon Inglis and 56 were published in his book 'Engineering Archie: Archibald Leitch - football ground designer' (2005).

The series includes photographs of the grounds at Craven Cottage, Roker Park, Fratton Park, Ayresome Park, Goodison Park and Villa Park, among others. Many of the grandstands and stadiums have either been altered, redeveloped or demolished.
