Description

Regional. The 18th century forge complex was surveyed by RCHME Newcastle in 1994, at the request of the Lake District National Park Authority. The project also forms part of the RCHME's work on the early iron industry of Furness. 1:500 and 1:100 survey Contents : 2 archive plans, 2 field sheets, 1 report, 1 control plot, 1 disc, 21 photographs, 1 section, 14 sheets elevation plans Condition : INTACT.
