Description

The transcription from air photographs of an area 10 km square centred on Winterbourne Stoke was carried out by R Palmer of Air Photo Services under the direction of RCHME Swindon Air Photography Unit, between 1991 and 1992. The work was commissioned by Sir William Halcrow and Partners Ltd as part of a study in advance of possible improvements to the A303.
