Description

Twenty-four photographic prints compiled by Knicky Chapman, relating to the work of the Royal Air Force Film Production Unit during the Second World War. The prints include stills from films produced by the RAF FPU, including 'Operational Height', 'Big Pack', 'Coastal Command', and 'Night Flight'. There are also photographs of the signing of the Anglo-Soviet Treaty in London on 26th May 1942, and of a visit to an unidentified airfield by King George VI, Queen Elizabeth, and Princess Elizabeth (later Queen Elizabeth II).

Knicky Chapman served as a member of the WAAF with the RAF FPU during the Second World War.
