A file containing 18 photographs depicting the F W Woolworth and Co store on Union Street, Torquay. Known as Woolworths store number 88, this was the eighty-eight branch of Woolworths to open in the British Isles. The store opened in February 1920 at 122-126 Union Street. In 1964 the branch relocated to purpose built premises at 21-25 Union Street. It closed in 2008 when Woolworths went into administration.
