Description

A file containing 16 photographs depicting the F W Woolworth and Co store on Union Street, Aldershot. The store also had an entrance at 57 High Street. Known as Woolworths store number 248, this was the two-hundred and forty-eighth branch of Woolworths to open in the British Isles, in 1927. The store closed in 2008. The building was demolished as part of redevelopment of Union Yard in 2021.
