Description

A file containing 36 photographs depicting the F W Woolworth and Co store on Pow Street, Workington. Known as Woolworths store number 382, this was the three-hundred and eighty-second branch of Woolworths to open in the British Isles, in 1930. The store opened in a purpose-built building, probably at 286-288 Pow Street. It was later rebuilt and extended.
