Description

A file containing 12 photographs depicting the F W Woolworth and Co store on Front Street, Consett, County Durham. Known as Woolworths store number 388, this was the three-hundred and eighty-eighth branch of Woolworths to open in the British Isles, in 1930. The store was extended, probably in the 1950s. It closed in December 2008.
