Description

A file containing 12 photographs depicting the F W Woolworth and Co store on St Andrews Road, South Oxhey. Known as Woolworths store number 828, this was the eight-hundred and twenty-eighth branch of Woolworths to open in the British Isles, in 1954. This store closed in December 2008. The parade of shops in St Andrews Road was subsequently demolished and the site was redeveloped.
