A file containing 6 photographs depicting the F W Woolworth and Co store on Castle Street, Shrewsbury. Known as Woolworths store number 1143, this was the one-thousand, one-hundred and forty-third branch of Woolworths to open in the British Isles. The store was originally known as store number 312, which moved to this site from premises on Pride Hill in 1964. This store was renumbered as store number 1143 after being extended in around 1984-1988.
