A file containing 6 photographs depicting the F W Woolworth and Co store on New Broadway, Ealing. Known as Woolworths store number 1149, this was the one-thousand, one-hundred and forty-ninth branch of Woolworths to open in the British Isles. The store was originally numbered as store number 74, which opened in 1916 at 11-12 High Street and moved to Ealing Broadway in 1932. The store was renumbered as store number 1149 in around 1987, when it became a trial 'Kidstore'. The store's branding was changed to 'Woolworths' in around 1988/1989. It closed in March 1992.
