These guidelines provide a framework for planning and managing artefact conservation on designated wrecks for licensees and their diving teams in English waters, as well as giving advice on ‘best practice’ for the first aid treatment of marine finds. They also contain first aid and other practical advice relating to artefact recovery and conservation.
