The Presentation of Historic Building Survey in CAD
For the purposes of this document CAD is defined as Computer Aided Draughting and modelling rather than Design.
The aim of this document is to demonstrate that it is possible to produce survey drawings in CAD of a quality equivalent to that achieved by traditional draughting, and so utilise the advantages of data in a digital format. It is not the aim of this document to describe technical aspects of CAD (there is an existing body of information on how CAD works).
