Church of St Michael, Marwood - North Devon

Parish church. C13 fabric to chancel with two lancets to north side and pointed south doorway. South transept with single lancet in east wall and unmoulded pointed arch into nave. Battered plinth in north aisle indicates former north transept and original cruciform plan. Cracked ridge tiles and missing slates. Rainwater goods need overhauling. Internal damp staining to walls. Bench ends with active insect infestation. Vegetation growth on stonework to tower, vestry chimney and north aisle wall.
