Halswell Park, Broomfield / Goathurst - Somerset Council (UA)
An C18 landscape park. Local preservation trusts have restored two important garden buildings but some other structures remain in poor condition. The centrepiece of the design, Mill Wood, was largely denuded of trees, however it changed hands in spring 2015 and was reunited with the house. This has led to a major programme of replanting and repairs to structures including the listed Bath stone bridge. Despite this, the majority of the park remains under intensive cultivation.
