Walford Hall Farmhouse, Solihull Road, Hampton in Arden - Solihull
Grade II* listed C15 hall with cross wing, altered in C16 by extending it upwards to provide a first floor. Two storeys with pitched gabled roof with red terracotta tiles finish. Timber framed with later brick infills on red sandstone base and foundations. Two large brick chimneys each with 3 star-shaped flues and elaborate capping. Flush casement windows, 1:2:1 with very fine astragals protected by boarding. The farmhouse is surrounded by a group of agricultural buildings part of the listing. In very poor condition despite having undergone emergency repairs to patch up the roofs.
