Dovecote 600m east of Home Farm - Nottingham, City of (UA)

Early C18, restored c1970. There are issues of widespread spalling to overall brickwork, notably the gables. The west gable's parapet and kneeler shows vertical cracking. The parapet is in poor condition, with cement repointing and loss of the original copings. The roof shingles are deteriorating, creating holes in the roof and the possibility of water ingress. The basal courses on the north elevation are in poor condition, with biological growths and heavily eroded mortar joints. Nottingham City Council commissioned a condition survey to inform future repairs and is keen to undertake these.
