Withcote Hall, Oakham Road, Withcote - Harborough
Country house, early C18, incorporating Tudor building, outbuildings and walled garden. Detailed condition survey carried out in 2002 part-funded by Historic England. The house had deteriorated to a very bad condition through neglect and water ingress. The roof required repair and recovering; there was extensive rot, structural movement and defective plasterwork. The repair of the main house commenced in 2019 and has largely been completed externally. Historic England researched the building and provided advice to the owner's agent and Harborough District Council. Further repairs are required.
