Rochford Tower, Rochford Tower Lane, Fishtoft - Boston
Brick tower, c1460 with C17 and C19 alterations. There are vertical cracks in the brickwork on the north and west elevations. The infill in the original west window is collapsing inwards. Brickwork on the parapet is unstable together with timber and floor remnants in the unroofed interior. Minimal repairs were carried out in 1988, including repointing the south east turret. Nothing has been done since. The owner has not been able to take up an offer of Historic England grant funding for a condition survey and options appraisal.
