Big Fenton, Peover Lane, Buglawton, Congleton - Cheshire East (UA)
C16 timber-framed farmhouse. The house includes much surviving historic timber, and a confession closet and chapel with wall paintings to the first floor. Repair work is needed to the timber frame and infill panels. Ivy growth covers portions of the building and gutters. Historic England has offered advice and support, and a new owner is working on removal of vegetation to the central and north wings and essential stabilisation work.
