East Lodge to Nunhead Cemetery, Linden Grove SE15 - Southwark

One of a pair of gate lodges dating from 1840, by James Bunstone Bunning, adjacent to the main entrance gates. The lodge is in a ruinous condition. Enabling works have been carried out to stabilise the structure. Listed Building Consent and Planning Permission have been granted for full restoration for café and community facilities. Stage 2 funding has been awarded by the National Lottery Heritage Fund with match-funding from Historic England and others. Works are expected to commence in 2024.
