Ancillary Pump House at Abbey Mills Pumping Station (Station B), Abbey Road E15 - Newham

Pump house circa 1868, probably by Bazalgette and Cooper, built in a similar style to the main pumping station. There is some evidence of water ingress and the design of the exterior downpipes makes them vulnerable to plant growth and blockages. Listed Building Consent has been granted and repair works are due to commence in summer 2024. The building is currently vacant but its conversion for use in connection with Thames Water Operations is being explored.
