Brandy Bottom Colliery, Pucklechurch - South Gloucestershire (UA)
A former C19 steam-powered colliery built on the site of C18 colliery. The Avon Industrial Buildings Trust have taken on the site and run regular work parties. They have undertaken vegetation clearance and minor repairs to stabilise the structures. Historic England grant aided works since 2014 have included repairs to the chimney, the structures within the Old Pit and New Pit and some interpretation. A Heritage Partnership Agreement document forms the basis of an on-going programme of repair and research.
