Wall and gate piers at St Martin's churchyard entrance, Church Road, Hillingdon UB7 - Hillingdon

Restored C16 red brick churchyard entrance wall and gate piers, with wrought iron gates, at St Martin's Church. Lower parts of C16 red brick, with the upper part rebuilt probably in the C19. A survey of the churchyard walls was carried out in 2021, with funding from Historic England, and funding will be sought to enable the necessary repair works to be carried out. In January 2023 a short section of wall collapsed close to the main access path to the south entrance door to the church. Discussions are in progress regarding its repair.
