Details
CORSHAM HARTHAM ST 87 SE 1/160 The Garth, Hartham House GV II
Farmhouse, late C17 and later C18, rubble stone with stone tiled hipped roof and stacks on ridges of rear wings and end-wall of north-west wing. Two storeys and attic. Regular 3-window front with flush quoins, 12-pane sashes in bead-moulded flush surrounds, 2-dormers and central 6-panel door with hood on brackets. West end wall has sashes. North-west wing has recessed ovolo-moulded mullion windows, single light to right, 2-light to each floor on left, apparently late C17. North-east rear wing has similar windows to main front and hipped gable. Apparently a farmhouse on the site retained as part of the service quarters when Hartham House was built.
