HACONBY HALL LANE TF 12 NW (south side) 7/115 Haconby Hall 6.5.52 G.V. II

Manor house. c.1630, late C18, C19, C20. Coursed limestone rubble, limestone ashlar. Collyweston tiled roofs with stone coped gables with finials. Single ridge and 2 projecting lateral stacks. T-plan. 2 storeys and garret, 5 bay south front with left hand bay projecting far forward. Plinth. Doorway to right with traceried overlight and panelled door. Line of quoins rises above door. C20 3 light casement to right. Tripartite glazing bar sash to left of doorway with another doorway beyond with traceried overlight and panelled door. East return of projecting bay to left with a tripartite glazing bar sash. South front of this projecting bay with a tripartite glazing bar sash with moulded cornice, and a similar window above. 2 glazing bar sashes to the right with a 3 light casement with concrete lintel beyond. 2 light mullion garret window in left hand bay. North front with doorway in C19 battlemented porch to right with a 3 light mullion window to the right, with a similar window above, and a 2 light garret mullion window. A projecting stack with variety of C19 and C20 casements and sashes beyond to the left. Kitchen with large chamfered and stopped bressumer and beams. Dining room with C17 ashlar fireplace with 4 centred head, angled shoulders and moulded sides. Late C19 staircase.
