C14 Nave, with original 2-light window in north wall. Late C14 north doorway
row blocked, with chamfered jambs, 2 centred arch and moulded label. Similar door
and window in south wall. Chancel is early C19 on C14 foundations with a C14 2
centred Chancel arch. West tower is of C16 in red brick with some diapering in
flared headers. Three stages with modern parapet. Two centred tower arch. West
window of 3 cinquefoiled lights, with vertical tracery in a 2 centred head with
a moulded label. West doorway is of brick with chamfered jambs and 2 centred arch.
C16 door to turret staircase. C14 south door. Porch is C18 with red plain tile
roof. (RCHM 1).
