2/126 Double Arched Bridge No 161
GV II
Public road bridge, c1790. Robert Whitworth, engineer. Rubble. Two round arches are above the other, the upper carrying the road and with short curved parapet walls. The lower is a strainer arch and appears integral, occasioned by the unusual height of the abutments.
