1. 5111 NEW WORKS ROAD Low Moor BD12

Office building at Low Moor Alloy Steel Works SE 1528 64/681 12.7.79

2. Circa 1790 part of the famous Low Moor Ironworks established at the end of the C18. Built as store and including former waggon shed. Two storeys at different levels and single storey irregular wing. Sandstone "brick", stone slate and Welsh slate roofs. Block bracketed eaves. Two and 3 light square mullion windows, some retaining glazing bars. Three gables facing west. The former waggon entrance is a large segmental archway with doors on massive iron hinges. Date stone inscribed H J D and H 1790 and iron plates also bearing this date.
