Range of houses. C17 or earlier, altered in C18 and C19. Timber frame, faced in brick. Plain tile roofs with gabled ends. Brick axial stacks, large stack to right of centre with moulded base and 4 diagonally-set shafts. Plan: Long range with cross-wings at each end and rear wing at centre with a wing (No 35A) at the end at right angles. Exterior: 1 storey and attic. Asymmetrical 1:3:1 window north front with gabled cross-wing at either end, the right hand jettied and timber-framed. 2 doors to left of centre with rectangular overlights. C18 panelled door to right of centre with canopy on brackets. 3-light casements on right with diamond leaded panes, oriel in gable, 4-pane sashes on left. 2 gabled dormers to left of centre. Wing at rear (No 35A). English bond brick, large axial stack, brick stringcourses, casement windows and 2 gabled dormers. Interior: not inspected.

2. C17 building, considerably restored in C19 with yellow brick. The former Rectory, onto which a late accretion (No 35) has been built. One-storey: cross-gable at Western end allows one window to light an attic. Steep tiled roof. No 33: only outline of original building remains. Fittings of C19. 2 gabled downers. No 31: 2 windows (diamond leaded casements) and single window in large over-hanging half-timbered gable, from which the window projects still further. Most of ground floor roughly plastered. C18 panelled door with brass knocker and slight moulded hood. Extension at back shows old casements and half-timber work. No 35 was largely rebuilt in the later C19. Colour washed brick, tiles, gable end to road. 2 storeys, each floor has C19 sash window without glazing bars under slightly cambered arch.

Nos 1 to 39 (odd) and Court House form a group with No 127 Dunstable Street.
