Details
SAXTON WITH SCARTHINGWELL MAIN STREET SE 43 NE (west side) 3/26 Village Farm II House. Probably early - mid C18 with later additions and alterations including extensions to left and to rear of no special interest. Magnesian limestone with pantile roof and brick stacks. Probably originally lobby- entry plan. 2 storeys, 3 bays. Entrance to third bay a C20 long-panel door. Blocked off-centre entrance. 16-pane sashes throughout within wider openings and under flat arches. Ashlar kneelers and coping. Ridge stacks. Interior: has some exposed chamfered beams.
