Church. Date 1856 on foundation stone. Of random flint with stone dressings and knapped flint panels on buttresses. The roofs are of machine made clay tiles. Unaisled nave, west tower, south porch, polygonal chancel and vestry on its north side. The tower is of 2 stages, the belfry being slightly recessed above a stone string band. This belfry stage has a 2 light window with circular window in its head under a hood mould in its west face. North and south faces have a pair of narrow lancets. The lower stages have single central lancets to light each of the two floors and flat buttresses clasp the angles. On the east face is a semi-circular stairtower in flint with its own tile roof. The main tower roof is pyramidal with a wrought iron decorative cross. The nave has simple Lancet windows, angled corner buttresses and simple buttresses with offsets between each. The polygonal chancel has angled buttresses and lancets in each face. The south porch is of timber framing above a flint and stone plinth, the arched openings now infilled with diamond leaded glazing. The nave roof is of arch braced collar form, with cusped 'V' struts and King posts above the collar. This is all supported on wall posts on s-tone C13 style moulded corbels. The chancel arch is pointed and chamfered and its roof is a simpler version of the nave roof. The chancel floor has contemporary patterned tiles and the east wall of the nave has original inscription and the text of Exodus Chapter XX. Simple stone drum font supported on central pedestal with four attached circular columns each with moulded bases and foliated capitals. Include for architectural and landscape value.
