STRETTON UNDER FOSSE MAIN STREET SP 48 SE 3/75 (south side) - Home Farmhouse GV II House. C16. Cruck-framed with later brick cladding. Old tile roof with brick stacks to ridge and ends. One storey plus attics; 3-window range. C19 part-glazed doors to left and right. 18-pane, 3-light casements to ground storey; 12-pane, 3-light casements to C19 gabled dormers. C19 rendering with painted imitation box-framing on main facade. Plinth. C18 timber-framed, and C19 wings to rear. Interior: ovolo moulded beams, with ogee stops. Some chamfered beams with plain stops. Large, open fireplace. One pair of cruck blades with saddle visible, said to be 3 pairs more.
