TARRANT KEYNESTON ST 90 SW VILLAGE STREET (North side) 5/30 Bastard monument in the churchyard, immediately south of tower of All Saints Church GV II

Table-tomb, dated 1731 though probably late C18. Stone with flat chamfered top and moulded plinth. Oval panels, the outermost in the form of sunk paterae. Brick vaulted tomb below with entrance under adjacent stone slab. Inscriptions to members of the Bastard and Barfoot families including the architects Thomas Bastard 1731 and John Bastard 1778.
