Detached farmhouse. C17 with Cl9 extensions. Square-panelled timber framing. Central portion of main body with flat-chamfered stone plinth, brick painted to imitate timber-framing above. Red tile and slate roof with brick stacks. 'U'-shaped plan to main body. C19 lean-to extension on right and C20 extensions rear right not of special interest. Two storeys and attic. Entrance front with two timber-framed gables projecting forwards left and right. Attic over central portion with two C20 triangular dormers, painted to imitate timber-framing. First floor lit by one 2-light and one 3-light stone-mullioned casements with steel casements. One, 2 and one 3-light wood casement to ground floor. Probably Cl9 stairs projection towards right-hand gable with tall stone-mullioned cross-window. C19 four-panelled door to left of stairs projection with gabled projecting slate canopy. C20 two-light casement to first floor of left-hand gable. Two fixed casements to ground floor of right-hand gable. One C20 two-light casement to first floor. Two 2-light stone-mullioned casements to first floor at rear. Two massive projecting limestone stacks with brick shafts at rear. Interior; deep flat-chamfered tie beams. Small Cl9 range by Humphries of Cheltenham in right-hand wing.
