2. Gate piers in an C18 style in block rusticated red brick with stone capping and plinth. Finials surmounted by lion and unicorn. Small pair of flanking piers with basket finials. Stone coped garden wall and 2 small lodge houses: C19. Lodges almost square in section with hipped Welsh slate roofs. Upper storey has segmental-headed hatch doorway. Ground floor of 1 has double carriage archway flat wood lintel. Between the lodges is a section of wall with segmental entry with gates.
Baysgarth, the gate piers, garden wall, lodges and former stables to Baysgarth form a group with No 2 Caistor Road, which is of local interest.
