Country House, c.1800; rear wings reduced in height and other alterations c.1965.
Stone, pebbledashed, with rusticated quoins and raised tooled-and-margined
dressings; Welsh slate roof. Rectangular block with rear wings flanking yard.

South front 3 storeys, 5 bays symmetrical. Plinth, ground floor sill band, 1st
floor sill band in centre bay only. Slightly-projecting centre had 6-panel
door with flanking 4-pane lights and radial-glazed fanlight, all in 3-centred
arch in panelled surround with hoodmould on moulded corbels. Plain ashlar panel
above. 1st floor 12-pane sash and 2nd floor 6-pane sash, both in panelled
surrounds. Moulded wood pediment. Flanking bays have quoins; tripartite-sashes,
shortened on 2nd floor; those on upper floors C20 enlargements of old openings.
End bays have tripartite ground-floor sashes with 12-pane and 6-pane sashes
above. Hipped roof with 2 stepped-and-banded ridge stacks.

Returns each show tripartite ground floor sash and 2 12-pane 1st floor sashes;
left return also has half-glazed door with Gothick fanlight under round-arched
head. Rear elevation shows 2 large 20-pane sash stair windows with Gothick
glazing under 4-centred arched heads. Rear wings show sash windows, some renewed;
north-east wing has flush-panelled door with radial-glazed overlight in courtyard.
