Historic Environment Overview

2019 has been a busy year, with a few important changes and new developments affecting the heritage sector. This overview report outlines recent updates within heritage funding, policy and management, the planning system and engagement. For example, the High Street Heritage Action Zones scheme (delivered partly by Historic England) received £92 million funding and the growing need to deal with crime against heritage. This and much more are explained in more detail in the report below.
