Managing the Essex Pleistocene Project

This project tested a methodology for gathering existing information about the potential for early prehistoric (Pleistocene or Palaeolithic) evidence in Essex for heritage professionals to use to inform the planning process. It will be of particular interest to Historic Environment Officers and Local Authority planning archaeologists. Staff from Essex County Council carried out the project in conjunction with other specialists.
