An Earthwork Survey and Investigation of Lincoln West Common

In February 2003 English Heritage undertook an archaeological investigation and analytical field survey of the West Common at Lincoln as part of a national project on the archaeology of town commons. The common has a rich survival of cultivation remains, sporting infrastructure, military structures, quarries and other features.
