Brougham Castle: archaeological survey report

In 1990-1991 RCHME undertook an archaeological investigation and analytical field survey of the Roman fort, medieval castle and the garden created by Lady Ann Clifford in the 17th century at Brougham, Cumbria. The survey also recorded cultivation remains, possible building platforms and various minor features.
